Position:

We have an opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist.  The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for working with PMT Customers and internal team members. This is a full-time position and is an in-office position where the candidate will be working at PMT headquarters in Chanhassen, MN  8:00am – 4:30pm, M-F.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Receive, process, and apply payments
  • Handle emails and telephone calls from customers and employees
  • Collections of delinquent accounts
  • Resolve customer billing issues
  • Assist with Customer Contracts and Special Pricing
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data
  • Receive, review, and audit expense reports
  • Work with other departments to verify and record transactions and resolve account discrepancies
  • Assist with commissions
  • Update vendor information as they come in
  • Support Accounting Team with additional tasks, as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school education or GED certificate
  • Clerical experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a collections or accounts receivable related position
  • Strong ability to multitask and high attention to detail
  • Ability to use Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Positive attitude and able to work with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong ability to make decisions with minimum supervision
  • Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
  • Basic math skills.
  • ERP/CRM software experience.   Netsuite preferred not required.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be organized and efficient with dependable follow through.
  • Creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.
