INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING COORDINATOR OVERVIEW:

The International Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for fulfillment and shipping of international orders, as well as preparing export documentation for these shipments. The International Shipping Coordinator will also be expected to assist with fulfillment and shipping of some domestic orders, coordinating stock levels with production staff, inventory, and other occasional as needed tasks in our warehouse. The candidate will be working at PMT headquarters in Chanhassen, MN, 8:30am – 5pm, M-F.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING COORDINATOR INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Fulfill international orders by picking and packing them
• Ship international orders utilizing either a courier service or freight forwarders
• Prepare export documentation without errors for international shipments
• Assist with picking, packing, or shipping domestic orders, as needed
• Coordinate with production team to ensure orders are made, if the product is not available in stock
• Effectively communicate with International Sales Team Members on order status and needs
• Keep track of international backorders and issue out backorder reports to International Sales Team, along with Production Managers
• Perform inventory of finished goods, and assist production managers with other inventory tasks
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school education or GED certificate
• Strong ability to multitask and high attention to detail
• Ability to use Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using the internet
• Ability to lift up to 60lbs
• 1-2 years’ experience in shipping or fulfillment related position
• Positive attitude and able to work with people from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to complete written documentation without error
• Strong ability to make decisions with minimum supervision
• Good understanding of shipping methods and services (courier vs. freight forwarder)
• Previous experience with international shipping preferred
• Experience preparing export documentation is a plus
